About Us

Our company began in 2006 from an idea a few friends in college had been working on. As some of the founding members of the company moved on to bigger opportunities in other states, the company was forced into making a decision: evolve or shut down. Eventually one founding member decided to take the lead and restructure the company into what it is now. Vitela Business Services was formed from the remains of the original company. This new company, headed by Maria Lucila Hernandez, represents the ideals and dreams that helped bring together friends and allowed them to follow their dreams.

Vitela Business Services is now celebrating a decade of helping individuals and small businesses achieve their financial goals and dreams. The company continues to grow by continually expanding their loyal customer base. Through hard work, dedication, absolute honesty, and honestly caring about the customers' business, Vitela Business Services has become a company that has earned the absolute trust and loyalty of its customers.

Maria Lucila Hernandez

From working at a prestigious agricultural engineering firm in Mexico as a bookkeeper, accountant, and administrator to opening her own accounting practice in the U.S. in 2006, Maria Hernandez has worked tirelessly to establish her accounting firm and to earn her reputation as one of the most trusted accountants and tax preparers servicing businesses, non-profit organizations, religious institutions, and Spanish speaking individuals in California. After more than 16 years, Maria Hernandez continues to provide the same dedication and passion to all her clients. Practicing since before computer assisted accounting was established, Maria has had first-hand experience on how technology affects the industry she is so passionate about. Staying ahead of new accounting standards, and tax law’s frequent changes is one of Marias’ main driving forces.

It Manager/Systems Administrator

Alan Hernandez

With an undeniable passion for technology and learning, Alan Hernandez started his career as an independent I.T. support technician. Alan amassed, and refined, his skill-set over 9 years of constant contract work for a variety of clients and companies. After earning degree in Computer Information Technology and various other industry certifications, he began a new phase of his career by taking a new position at an established government sub-contractor. In his new position, Alan quickly became the Systems Administrator and Head of Network Operations. In his new position, he was tasked with overseeing the entire I.T. infrastructure of the company as well as developing and maintaining linguist testing systems for the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Justice. With so much success in his career, Alan never lost his passion for using his skills and knowledge to help people through technology.
